Meanwhile, the Cyprus Turkish Secondary School Teachers’ Union (KTOEOS) is continuing the action it start in front of the Parliament in protest of, what it says, the sacking of 17 academicians at the Lefke European University.
Yesterday, the Union staged protests in front of the Prime Ministry and the TRNC Parliament.

The protestors left a black wreath in front of the Prime Ministry office.
The Union also pitched a tent on the pavement in front of the Parliament building.
Some trade unions and the United Cyprus Party and Communal Democracy Party gave their backing to the action.
The Union claims that the 17 academicians were sacked illegally.
